Presentations, demonstrationsand parties

I am very public spirited and passionate about
talking to local community groups or private parties
about the fascinating and empowering
subject of colour and style.
Presentations
Informative,interactive and fun
My colour presentations are informative interactive and fun. The atmosphere is relaxed and social. Everyone is invited to become involved. They can volunteer as part of a demonstration or simply contribute their opinions regarding the colours that are applied join in with the fun of the scarf tying activity. The presentation lasts for approximately an hour and can be tailored to suit your requirements. It includes the following –
- Why certain shades complement your natural colouring more than others.
- Is black really a good look for you?
- Tips on accessories.
- Is it time to change your lipstick?
- A peak at your very own and unique style personality
- Advice on fabrics to suit your natural curves.
- Creative and interesting ways to tie that essential scarf.
- Are you more suited to a warm or a cool tone?
- Is a contrasting or blended look more flattering for you?
- Making friends with red.
I wonder how many clothes you have in your wardrobe that you have hardly worn because the colour or shape are not right for you. They might even have the price tag still attached. You are not alone in this.

Private parties
Celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a get together

Why not gather a group of friends for a session of colour analysis. What a fabulous and fun way to create a surprise party or celebrate a special occasion. Or, it could simply be a long overdue get together. It is not only interesting to discover your own colours but also to see how they compare to the rest of your group. Have fun trying out new lipstick colours and getting tied up in knots with new scarf fashions. Everyone can join in and it becomes very much a party atmosphere. Your party can be entirely tailored to suit your group requirements.
Zooming beautiful!
Why is my wardrobe such a mess?
I now enjoy zooming and helping to maintain that sense of community albeit on screen. My recent zoom presentations have been very successful with WI charity organisations and community groups. My zoom presentations include the fascinating and uplifting world of personal colour analysis and style. Even though I use a Powerpoint presentation I mainly like to speak to the audience and make the occasion as fun and interactive as I possible can. The session concludes with alternative and stylish scarf tying techniques. I therefore encourage ladies to bring to the evening both a square and long scarf so that they can join in. There is also a raffle at the end of the evening following questions. The prize is a one to one zoom colour consultation. The presentation usually lasts 45 minutes to an hour.

And what about those wonderful scarves?
At the end of each presentation I like to give a scarf tying demonstration. I always suggest everyone bring a square or oblong scarf so that we can all get tied up in knots together. This is always very amusing. I provide alternatives to the shape we have been wearing for the last ten years. You know the one?! I also provide some very elegant evening designs to keep the chill away in early spring and late autumn.
During my demonstration you will learn how to.
- Correct unflattering colours with a scarf
- Take attention away from less flattering areas
- Create interest to an outfit
- Provide an interesting alternative to jewellery
- Make elegant evening shoulder ponchos or boleros
- Create height
- Think about trying out new colours
I love my scarves. They can also of course keep you warm and cosy. I use them to ensure that I am wearing the right colour against my face. The right tone, depth, texture and pattern. Above all, to avoid any colour ‘wearing me’…………..out!!
